Nyc Bicycle Shop is looking for highly qualified, motivated sales person and an experienced bicycle mechanic who is willing to work in a fast paced retail environment.

Successful candidates will possess
Self motivation, previous bicycle retail experience, excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers, high attention to details, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, willingness to learn new things, basic computer skills, a positive attitude is essential to interact with customers and employees, the ability to function as part of a team, must be passionate about cycling
Sales Positions
- Learn our products and their applications to be effective with the sales of our bikes, apparel, accessories and parts
- Selling to a variety of customers and finding the appropriate product to fit their needs
- Handle rentals and online rental reservation system
- Follow through with customers
- General cleaning and organizing duties
- Help with events and group rides
- Help customers plan rides
The ideal sales candidates should possess a background in Specialty retail sales and a strong knowledge of cycling and cycling equipment. Learn our products and their applications to be effective with the sales of our bikes, apparel, accessories and parts. Whether it be Road Racing, or Mountain Biking we would like to hear from you. Positions are full and part time, weekends are a must! Compensation is based on experience.
Mechanic Positions
- Minimum 2 years experience as a professional bike mechanic
- Display consistency in bike builds and service write-ups
- Familiarity with major brands and current component compatibility
- The ability to diagnose and fix mechanical issues with all types of bicycles
- Be confident bleeding brakes and servicing suspension
- The ability to maintain a clean and organized work area
- Weekends are a must.
